Imashev, Berik Mazhitovich 
The Minister of Justice of Republic Kazakhstan.
It is appointed on January, 20th, 2012 by the Decree of the President of Republic Kazakhstan.
 
Born on June 7, 1960 in Almaty in the family of scientists – lawyers. In 1977 graduated high school of Karaganda. In 1982 received diploma with honors of law faculty of the Moscow State University on law specialty.
Started his career on prosecutor’s office. Repeatedly was encouraged by the Decrees of general prosecutor of KazSSR and Republic of Kazakhstan.
Worked as an assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Secretary of the Security Council.
In 2008 by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was appointed as a Deputy of Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Same year was appointed as a – Chairman of the Committee on legislation and legislative reform.
From 2011 – Chairman on constitutional legislation, court system and law enforcement agency of the Senate of the Parliament.
Awarded with “Kurmet” and “Parasat” medals, Certificate of honor of CIS Inter-Parliament Assembly Council, “10 years to Astana” Anniversary medal.
Laureate of the International Fund of U. Semenov "Detective and politics."
Author of "Criminological problems of illegal bankruptcy."
Together with his wife Leila Muhanbetovna raised three children: daughter, Aida, son Alzhan and daughter Adiya.
