On December 28 of this year, draft laws "On appraisal activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "On introducing amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of appraisal activity" were considered at the Plenary session of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Draft laws are aimed at bringing the legislation in the field of appraisal activity in accordance with the norms of the Law "On self-regulation". It is planned to transfer state functions to self-regulating organizations, as well as to bring a number of legislative acts in accordance with the norms of the main draft law.
Within the framework of the draft laws, measures are also provided to transfer functions on state regulation in the field of appraisal activity to the Ministry of Finance of the RK.
Adoption of the draft law will promote the development of self-regulation and reduction of state control in the field of appraisal activity, bringing appraisal activity in accordance with international standards.
